Description

The MGDSx-75 series is a full family of high performance DC/DC low profile power modules designed for aerospace, military and high-end industrial applications.

Ideal for typical 24V, 28V, 270V DC input bus or on 380Vin after an AC-DC rectification, these modules use a high frequency fixed switching technique at 420KHz providing excellent reliability, low noise characteristics, high power density and a low profile package.

All the modules are designed with LC network filters to minimize reflected input current ripple and out-put voltage ripple. The modules include a soft-start, an input undervoltage lock-out, a permanent short circuit protection and an output overvoltage protection to ensure efficient module protections. The soft-start allows current limitation and eliminates inrush current during start-up. The short circuit protection completely protects the module against short-circuits of any duration by a shut-down and restores to normal when the overload is removed.

Gaia's MGDS-75 Series of High-Reliability DC-DC Converters are designed for higher operating temperatures of -40 to +105°C (optional -55°C) with input ranges required for typical military & airborne applications.
