GAIA Converter introduces the PSDG-48: 48W Hi-Rel integrated power supply, 28VDC input, multi-outputs module.

Gaia Converter continues to expand its Mil & Aero power supply system offering with the PSDG-48 series board mount module.

The PSDG-48 is a new series of COTS 2 or 3 outputs 48W isolated power supply, SWaP-C optimized and low profile: 91×54×9 mm (3.6” x 2.1” x 0.4”).

Dedicated to 24 & 28Vdc systems, Mil & Aero standard power supply requirements are all built in:

• MIL-STD-461, DO160 EMI filter

• Reverse polarity protection & inrush current limit

• Hold-up function (50ms or more, with external capacitor),

• High & low input voltage transients: 100V/50ms (MIL-STD-1275), 80V/100ms (DO160), 12V/1s (MIL-STD-1275 IES)

• Ideal for MIL-STD-202 & 810 compliance: altitude, humidity, temperature shocks & cycles, vibrations and shocks.

Key power performances of these Hi-Rel modules include:

• Permanent input voltage: 16 – 60 Vdc

• 48W total output power: 20W+20W+8W triple or 40W+0W+8W dual independent outputs, pre-configured as single ended or symmetrical voltages

• Complete power supply efficiency up to 89%

• -40°C to +105°C full load case operating temperature range

Proprietary fixed high-frequency switching topology offers high power density and excellent reliability, and the thermally conductive resin encapsulation optimizes power dissipation in harsh environments.
